1. Prohibited content
You may not use the Service to upload, store, transmit, distribute, or display content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
- Violates the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
- Contains malware, viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware, adware, or other malicious code.
- Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material or the sexual exploitation of any minor.
- Depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual content or intimate imagery shared without consent.
- Promotes, incites, or glorifies violence, terrorism, hate speech, harassment, or self-harm.
- Discriminates against or harasses any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic.
- Discloses another person's private information (doxxing) without lawful basis and consent.
- Infringes any law of any jurisdiction in which the content is processed, stored, transmitted, or displayed.
- Constitutes gambling or wagering content prohibited in the jurisdiction of the End User.
- Constitutes spam, phishing, scam communications, or unsolicited bulk messaging that does not meet applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
- Imitates, impersonates, or falsely associates itself with any person, brand, or organization without authorization.
- Falsely advertises events, ticket sales, sponsorships, or other commercial offerings.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not, and may not permit any Authorized User or End User to:
- Use the Service to engage in any unlawful activity.
- Use the Service to harm, harass, threaten, intimidate, defraud, or stalk any person.
- Use the Service to interfere with another person's lawful use of the Service or any other system.
- Use the Service to send communications without the recipient's required consent or in violation of applicable anti-spam law.
- Use the Service to facilitate or conceal proceeds of crime, money laundering, terrorist financing, or evasion of sanctions or export controls.
- Use the Service to process the personal data of individuals without a lawful basis under applicable law.
- Misrepresent the source, recipient, or content of any communication sent through the Service.
- Use the Service to conduct surveillance of any person without their lawful consent.
- Use the Service to discriminate against individuals on the basis of legally protected characteristics.
3. Prohibited technical actions
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, its infrastructure, or any related system, except under written authorization from Novex.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, any account, any system, or any data not belonging to you.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any authentication, security, rate-limiting, or access-control mechanism.
- Decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Service, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or service, or to benchmark for competitive purposes without prior written consent.
- Use automated tools to crawl, scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load, circumvents documented rate limits, or violates any technical access control.
- Generate traffic patterns intended to overload, degrade, or disrupt the Service.
- Attempt to access another tenant's data, account, or workspace.
- Re-identify, link, or de-anonymize data that has been aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized.
- Modify, frame, mirror, or create derivative works of the Service for redistribution or resale.
- Use the Service to host or transmit material excessive in size or volume relative to documented plan limits without prior written approval.
4. AI feature restrictions
When using AI-assisted features, you may not:
- Use the AI features to generate content that violates any other provision of this AUP.
- Use the AI features to generate content that infringes third-party rights, defames any person, or impersonates any individual.
- Use the AI features to generate misleading or deceptive marketing.
- Use the AI features to circumvent content-moderation, safety, or compliance controls.
- Use the AI features to generate or extract personal data of any individual without lawful basis.
- Use the AI features to generate or extract Novex source code, security controls, proprietary configuration, or another tenant's data.
- Use BYOK (Bring-Your-Own-Key) integration to violate the terms of the underlying AI provider.
You remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before using it. AI output is not a substitute for human judgment.
5. Plan limits and rate limits
The Service enforces plan-specific limits on storage, registrations, AI usage, outbound messaging, and seats. You may not:
- Use multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
- Share login credentials to circumvent seat limits (each Authorized User must have their own account).
- Bypass documented API rate limits through retries, multiple keys, or distributed clients.
Sustained excessive usage may result in throttling, fee adjustments, or account suspension. We will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to upgrade before suspending for usage-related reasons, except in cases of abuse.
6. End-user responsibility
You are responsible for the conduct of your Authorized Users and End Users on the Service. We may remove content that violates this AUP and notify you. We may suspend or terminate your account if your End Users repeatedly violate this AUP and you fail to take reasonable corrective action.

If you become aware of a violation, please report it to:

Please provide enough detail for us to investigate, including URLs, timestamps, account or tenant identifiers if known, and a description of the violation.
8. Enforcement
Depending on the severity, we may:
- Issue a warning.
- Remove the offending content.
- Suspend access to specific features.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Refer matters to law enforcement.
- Take legal action.
We will use reasonable efforts to notify the affected account holder, except where notification would impede an investigation, present a safety risk, or violate law. We may suspend or terminate accounts immediately and without prior notice for severe violations (CSAM, attempted system intrusion, malware distribution, attacks on other customers, fraud, or repeated violations after warning).
9. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted at nov3x.com/legal/acceptable-use with a revised Last Updated date and, where required, notified to your account contact at least 30 days before they take effect.
