Permits are tracked inside the event they belong to, alongside the tasks, the incidents and the schedule — each one logged with its authority, its reference number and its status, and flagged when it is submitted, in review, approved or close to expiring. The approval and the day it covers are one record instead of a spreadsheet beside it.
Log every approval the event needs against the authority that issues it — the exhibitions and conferences authority, the entertainment authority, Civil Defense, the municipality, the Ministry of Health for food, the Ministry of Interior for security, the Ministry of Commerce, or an authority you name yourself — with its reference number, its fee and the date it expires.
